How to remove distractions

Section 2 : Schedule your time around tasks

40%

One of the best ways to maintain your focus is to block off time to accomplish specific tasks or broad activities. For example, you might schedule an hour and a half to finish a proposal, two hours to go over reports, and three hours for research or project management.

That covers the work you have to get done. Then you could schedule an hour in the morning and an hour later in the afternoon to deal with questions, emails, and other outside priorities. Planning in this manner ensures you allot enough time for critical objectives while also allowing for unexpected issues that require your attention.

Unekwu Yakubu I find it best to block off times where you do not answer the phone or emails so you can focus on the tasks in front of you.
