9am-11am SMDP MedTech Wrap-up Training Session and Site Visit
11:30am SMDP Alumni Scholars arrive at the 2022 The MedTech Conference

9am-6pm The MedTech Conference
8:30pm-11pm MTC Live Event

Wednesday, Octobfer 26th: Boston Convention & Exhibition Center
9am - 4pm The MedTech Conference

Culmination event (in person)
The year-long SMDP mentoring program culminates with an in-person event. 

All Scholars are required to attend and Mentors are encouraged to attend the event which will include:

• a Celebration of Mentoring & Diversity Reception
• a half-day training program for the Scholars and Mentors
• full convention access to The MedTech Conference
• most meals as part of the SMDP training/TheMedTech Conference

ICPD will cover the following costs for the Scholars:

• lodging during the training program
• a $350 travel allowance

Mentors will be responsible for air travel, hotel accommodations, ground transportation.

How to dress and what to bring? 
Business attire with comfortable shoes. Scholars, bring 100 business cards and 10 copies of your Resume. Mentors, we encourage you to bring plenty of business cards as well.

The MedTech Conference: Scholars and Mentors will be registered to attend The MedTech Conference, October 24-26, 2022 in Boston. The MedTech Conference is optional for the mentors. You do NOT need to contact The MedTech Conference for this. Your registration information will be provided closer to the date of the Convention.

Logistics:
Make your own arrangements for travel. Plan to arrive in Boston by mid afternoon on Sunday, October 23rd.

Scholars: Plan to depart from Boston late in the day on Wednesday, October 26th. You'll be attending The MedTech Conference that day.

Mentors: Plan to depart after the SMDP MedTech Training Session ends on Monday, October 24th. Optionally you can attend The MedTech Conference, October 24-26. Please notify us if you plan to attend The Medtech Conference, or if you have any questions about travel. Contact Dustie by email: dsavage@icpdprograms.org

SMDP MedTech Wrap-up Training Sessions hosted by: Amgen, 360 Binney St., Cambridge, MA 02141
Scholars, you will attend the wrap-up training sessions

2022 The MedTech Conference will be held at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, 415 Summer St, Boston, MA 02210

Scholars, you do NOT need to contact The MedTech Conference for this. Mentors, simply send an email to dsavage@icpdprograms.org indicating that you would like to attend The MedTech Conference. Your registraiton information will be provided during the SMDP MedTech Wrap-up Training Session.

A vegetarian option will be available at all SMDP hosted events.  If you have more specific dietary restrictions, please plan on bringing your own food.  If you have concerns, please send an email to dsavage@icpdprograms.org
