Every team member has things they need to get done. You mustn’t make their priorities yours. If someone reaches out with a question, you can politely tell them you’ll get back to them. An email marked “Urgent” might only be urgent to the sender. You should allow yourself to get back to them when it fits your schedule.
Let your colleagues know that you’re available to help, but don’t get pulled into a maze of busy work. Focus on executing your tasks!
