A good job might not come with fancy perks, or have a big title or a flashy industry name. But if you feel seen, respected and supported, then you have it pretty good compared to most. These are the things that matter most. If your ideas are heard, your time is valued and your boundaries are kept, that’s a win.
Sometimes a job that doesn’t look exciting on paper becomes the one that grows you the most. Sometimes the most impressive jobs on paper leave you feeling empty. It’s okay to value things others overlook like stability, kind colleagues, flexible hours, clarity, predictability, etc. These are not signs you’ve settled. They could be signs that you’ve really thought deeply about what matters to you.
