20%

Recruiters play a big role in the hiring process, acting as intermediaries between job seekers and employers. There are two main types of recruiters: internal recruiters, who work directly for companies to fill open positions and external recruiters, who work for staffing agencies or as independent consultants. Tailor your approach and build more effective relationships by understanding the recruiter’s in order to stand out even more.

When engaging with recruiters, it's important to recognize their goals. Recruiters are tasked with finding the best candidates for their clients or employers. Sometimes, when tasked with finding candidates, they have many options to choose from. Presenting yourself as a qualified, prepared and professional candidate makes their job easier and positions you as a valuable contact. This not only enhances your chances of being recommended but also helps you establish a positive and lasting relationship with the recruiter.
