Dear SMDP Community,

SMDP Member Locator Map - Update Your Information

The SMDP Member Locator Map is live. This interactive tool allows you to view and connect with SMDP alumni across the United States and find alumni who are near you. This helps the alumni association identify where there are concentrations of alumni and determine where to establish local chapters.

To appear on the map, you need to add your location to your profile on the portal.

To add your location:

1. Go to the SMDP website


2. Log in to your account


3. Click My Profile in the top right corner


4. Select Edit Profile


5. Scroll to Current Location, type your city and select it from the Google Maps dropdown.

Once submitted, your location will be visible to other logged in members. The Member Locator can be accessed at the top right of your screen after signing in.

Take a moment to update your profile and reconnect with the SMDP community. If you experience any issues logging in or updating your profile, please contact Dayveon Cooper at dcooper@icpdprograms.org

How many times have we gone “we need more people like this in the world” or “more people should be like that”? We have all said it. We have said it after someone goes out of their way to help, after witnessing integrity in a difficult situation, after experiencing kindness that was freely given. “I wish more people were like this” is the first thing many of us tend to say.

Log on to the SMDP Portal to view this "Mentor Moment" and don't forget to discuss this topic with your mentor/mentee - or share this content with someone else who can benefit from it.
