Carrying lazy colleagues

Teamwork, empathy and understanding has always been something to celebrate in workplaces. There is a difference however, between helping a colleague and carrying them. Many professionals are finding themselves doing extra work to cover for others, because they do not want to seem difficult. The message has been stretched too far and the pressure to be “nice” and accommodating has made it harder to say no, even when others are taking advantage of that kindness.
