Dear SMDP Community,

Referral Drawing!

Attention Scholars: We always encourage you to share the SMDP experience with others and now there’s an extra incentive! As the deadline to apply for SMDP 2025 approaches on April 4th, here’s your chance to get recognized and win!

For every person you refer to SMDP who completes their application, your name will be entered into a drawing to win a $100 Visa card and you’ll also be recognized on the SMDP Portal as an SMDP Ambassador.

Here’s how it works:

• The applicant must meet the objective criteria, which you can find here: SMDP Selection Criteria.


• Their application must be complete with all supporting documents by April 4th. Incomplete applications will not count toward the drawing.


• Your referral will count regardless of whether the applicant is accepted into the program.


• When they fill out their application, they need to put your name in the section asking where they heard about SMDP.

Start spreading the word and make sure your name gets in the drawing! You could be our next SMDP Ambassador and walk away with a $100 Visa card.
