Here's this week's SMDP Mentor Moment
The power of positive thinking

power-of-positive-thinking

Let's face it, being a positive thinker isn't easy, especially when life throws challenges our way. Many of us default to the mantra of "hope for the best, prepare for the worst" as a way to shield ourselves from disappointment. It seems like a safe bet, a coping mechanism that helps us navigate the uncertainties of life and work. But what we often overlook is the toll it takes on us. Living in constant defense mode, especially during long-term struggles, drains our energy and leaves us stressed. This not only takes a toll on our mental well-being but also hampers our productivity.

Research tells us that maintaining a positive mindset even in difficult situations can be a game-changer. Moreover, positive thoughts, help us prepare better and safeguards our mental health from the corrosive effects of negativity.
