Even in jobs people love, there are parts they dislike. Tasks that are tedious. Politics that are draining. Days that are just hard. That doesn’t mean the job is bad. It just means it’s real.

If your standard is “I must feel inspired every day,” you’re going to be disappointed. And not because you lack ambition, but because you’re human. Passion isn’t a fuel line that stays steady forever. It flares sometimes and fades most of the time - for the majority of us, at least. What lasts is curiosity, purpose, challenge and contribution. And those can show up in places that don’t feel dreamy at first.
