How do you react to feedback?

Section 4 : Embrace feedback as a learning tool

80%

The most successful people are those who treat feedback as an opportunity to improve, rather than something to be feared. Integrating feedback into your development journey helps you view it as a learning tool, leading you to actively seek it out and see it as part of your whole process. Instead of waiting for others to give you feedback, ask for it regularly from trusted peers, mentors or colleagues for their input on your work.

If you’ve recently finished a team project, you could ask your team for feedback on how you managed the process, or how well you communicated goals and expectations. This shows that you’re open to improving and value their input. Whether the feedback is positive or points out areas you could improve on, it’s a learning tool that can guide you towards becoming more effective in your role. It only works to your benefit.
