Who would you be without pressure?

Section 3 : The illusion of ‘falling behind’

100%

One of the greatest tricks pressure plays on us is the illusion that we are always behind. There is always someone more successful, more accomplished, seemingly more in control. The idea that we need to constantly ‘catch up’ keeps us in a state of urgency, preventing us from appreciating our own progress. But what if we stopped measuring our worth against arbitrary timelines? Would we finally feel at peace with where we are?

Without the pressure to meet specific milestones, you might actually enjoy the process of learning, growing and evolving. Progress is not a race and removing the imaginary finish line might just be the key to discovering what you truly want. The absence of pressure doesn’t mean doing nothing. It means moving forward without the unnecessary weight of comparison and expectation.
