Burnout often stems from misaligned expectations - those we set for ourselves and those imposed by external pressures. To bounce back, start by acknowledging the gap between what you're striving for and what’s truly sustainable or meaningful.

Try to identify sources of pressure. Are you chasing goals dictated by societal expectations, workplace culture, or personal perfectionism? Define what success looks like on your own terms and ensure it aligns with your values and limits.

You can also reset your relationship with productivity. Shift from equating your worth with output to prioritizing outcomes that matter. Learn to differentiate between being busy and being effective. Recalibrating these expectations, creates space to reconnect with yourself and the things that truly matter, setting the stage for recovery and sustainable progress.
