Discover your potential

Section 1 : Challenge your limits

20%

Often, we find ourselves staying within the boundaries of what we already know, not realizing that these limits are self-imposed. Discovering your potential means pushing beyond these boundaries, trying new things and tackling challenges you might have avoided in the past. You may not be aware of the skills you possess until you’re forced to use them in unfamiliar situations.

For instance, if you’ve always avoided public speaking because it feels intimidating, consider volunteering to lead the next team meeting. It might be uncomfortable at first, but you may discover that you have a knack for communicating ideas clearly. Challenging your limits doesn’t mean expecting perfection the first time and you shouldn’t be disappointed if things don’t go as planned. Just try again. And if you do in fact realize that public speaking isn’t for you, then at least you now know and can seek out your next challenge. Remember, every step outside your comfort zone is a step toward discovering new strengths.
