Content presented on the SMDP Portal is adapted to the access level of each site user. Visitors browsing the public site will be able to access any publicly available information; while portal members may have access to additional data, depending on their profile type.
SMDP Portal users have the benefit of additional tools that enable them to search for contact, filter contents and communicate with other members based on their their interests.
SMDP Portal users, including SMDP Scholars, Mentors and recruiters can search for and connect with SMDP Gateway members. However, Gateway members cannot view and connect with SMDP Portal users unless the SMDP Portal user sends the Gateway member a connection request.
