When faced with problems, positive thinking allows us to focus on solutions rather than dwell on problems. It gives us an opportunity to unlock hidden reservoirs of strength and courage within ourselves. This transformative mindset not only enriches our personal well-being but also radiates outward in our professional life, inspiring our colleagues and touching the lives of those around us, sowing seeds of inspiration and upliftment.
Positive thinking is a skill that needs to be developed over time. It's our default for the majority of humans to assume the worst or expect negative results because that's the body's way of defending itself from shock and disappointment when we finally know the outcome. We have taught ourselves that if we don't expect things to go well, then we will be truly happy when they do go well. So, sadly, because of that, many of us don't nurture positive thinking, and therefore, that skill is underdeveloped. It's such a foreign concept to many that when we meet "positive people," we think they are out of touch or find them annoying to be around. But if we really looked closely, we would realize that they are indeed not out of touch or refusing to accept reality, but have chosen to reframe it instead.
